Meet Alliyah
Hi, I'm Aliiyah, founder of The Science Hummingbird.
From a very young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I loved learning, and I loved helping others understand new ideas. That passion has stayed with me throughout my life and has led to a career spanning more than 30 years in science education.

Over the years, I've taught students of all abilities and backgrounds. One thing I've learned is that success in science isn't about being "naturally clever", it's about building confidence, developing understanding and having someone who believes in you.

As a former Head of Science and a qualified teacher (QTS), I've seen first-hand how the right support can transform a student's confidence and achievement. Whether a student is aiming to pass GCSE Science or achieve the highest grades, I believe every learner deserves clear explanations, encouragement and resources that genuinely help.

I created The Science Hummingbird because I wanted to continue helping students beyond the classroom. My mission is simple:
 
To make science engaging, accessible and enjoyable, helping every student discover that they can succeed.

Every revision guide, worksheet and resource I create is designed with care, using the knowledge and experience I've gained over three decades of teaching.

I hope The Science Hummingbird gives students the confidence to believe in themselves, enjoy learning and achieve their very best.
